Tarpon Trek Spincast

For the angler who likes using a Multiplier/Conventional for his tarpon fishing, this is the rod for you. Like the Tarpon Spin this will cope with all manner of species including goliath grouper, giant trevally and amberjacks.

The Tarpon Trek Spin Cast is ideally suited for fishing the slightly deeper water with bottom baits as well as light trolling and trotting live baits beneath a bobber. There is an amazing amount of hidden power generated by this very slimline blank that is not only a joy to use it is also very comfortable with or without a belt for stand up work.

The Fox SIC’s guides throughout allow you to use both monofilament and braided lines with ultimate confidence. These are ceramic lined to give you extra durability and to eliminate grooving. We recommend monofilament and braided lines between 20 and 50lb breaking strain.

This beautifully balanced rod is fitted with an EVA foregrip and handle, a top quality Fox Screw Down Reel Seat, Gimbal and Protective Rubber Butt Cap.

The Tarpon Trek Spincast 7’ rod comes complete with a high quality, smart zipped hard case travel tube for convenience and transit protection. This model is made up from 5 sections with a transport length of just 21 inches .
