Car was rented for 3 days
The Style of the car (SUV) was confirmed via a confirmation e-mail as well.
very unfortunately Solid is the only car rental company local to Golfito

Morning Of:
Call the local office to confirm that our car would be ready, the Owner of Solid Rent A Car in Golfito answers and says the pick-up time has to be later because he was returning another car to a different town, a minor inconvenience but not too bad, then I asked him to confirm the price and vehicle. This is where his royal fuck-face began to shine. He proceeds to tell me that the only car he had in the lot to rent us was a suzuki jimmy…which is about the size of a clown car and is about as comfortable as sleeping on a rock. After a little arguing and us explaining to him that we have a reservation for an SUV, in two languages, we realize this piece of work is slimier then a used car salesman. Unfortunately he also has a monopoly, burying some frustration we ask about the price… The rate was double the rate listed on the solid rent-a-car website and to top it off he says the minimum rental time is 7 days.

The Shock took a second to vanish.

The car is wrong
we can’t pick it up on time
it costs twice as much for a smaller car
and we have to keep the over priced piece of shit for 7 days instead of 3

Upon asking this legendary asshole if this is how he does businesses when restating the above, he promptly hung up.

So you, Solid rent-a-car Golfito office owner get 5 Pig’s Asses for being a worthless excuse of a human being who should be put out of business and sold into slavery for your douchebagery. We wouldn’t even hire you to shovel shit in the backyard.

Solid rent a car (central) wasn’t helpful either as apparently they operate as a franchise and the owners can do what they want… great corporate image you guys are painting there, 5 pigs asses for you too
